* The Montauk Project was purportedly a series of secret United States government projects conducted at Camp Hero and/or Montauk Air Force Station on Montauk, Long Island in the 1960's.
* Homeless people and orphans were abducted and subjected to huge amounts of electromagnetic radiation to test mind control technology and remote brain programming. Few survived.
* A "porthole in time" was created which allowed researchers to travel anywhere in time or space.
* Contact with an alien race was made. These helpful extraterrestrials beings claimed to be from a place called Dimension- M.
* An alien supposedly designed " The Chair", which an individual could sit in to boost his mental and precipatory powers.
* Various trade was made with the dimensional alien species. Including technology, medicine, and the use of their guardian daikaiju code named: Montauk.
* With the use of "The Chair" a psychic agent could teleport the monster Montauk from Dimension- M to our dimension. The agent could then control Montauk mentally in a variety of ways including combat.
* During the next several years the daikaiju known as Montauk battled many other monsters over the globe. Notable opponents include The Mighty Myakka, Acheron the Death-Bringer and The Great he-Mato.
* The Monster Montauk has also teamed up with other "Good" daikaijus to stop threats internationally.

He can pick up several thousand tons with ease, dismember the limbs of others with ease or tear great boulders from the ground to throw at his opponents.

Claws- Razor sharp claws strong enough to stab into the thick hides of most daikaiju.
Beak- Powerful enough to crush boulders.

Dimensional Teleport- With the use of "The Chair" the Monster Montauk can be teleported from Dimension-M to any location and time on Earth.
Burrowing- Montauk is able to burrow underground at exceptional speeds

Thick Skin- Montauk is covered in skin as tough as solid steel that enable him to withstand close combat from even the strongest opponents.

The longer the monster Montauk is in our dimension the weaker it gets along with a decrease in size and mass after prolonged exposure.

Interesting take on this cryptid. Nice idea to use the Montauk monster legend and the Montauk Project as in spiration for this kaiju!
